Problem Statement

Many digital learning platforms focus heavily on content delivery but fall short when it comes to engagement, retention, and meaningful interaction.

Identify Major Competitors

Conduct competitors analysis of competitors websites to understand content structure and product uploads.

Seamless Course Uploads

Improve creator's experience for course upload. The main selling points of Enski version 3.0

Learn As You Go

To design learner's experience of Enski 3.0 that gives them the option to pay as they learn any course instead of the  popular outright buy.

Community Integration

To transform passive learning into an active, social learning process that improves both comprehension and retention.

Research & Information Gathering

Competitor Analysis

To identify opportunities for Enski to stand out, I analyzed existing learning and content-sharing platforms to understand industry standards, common user expectations, and experience gaps.`

User Research & Journey Mapping

I explored how learners consume knowledge across digital platforms, I mapped user journeys to identify friction points, motivations, and key moments within the learning experience, helping shape more intuitive flows and interactions.

Trends & Data Analysis

Insights from market trends and behavioral patterns informed design decisions around readability, personalization, and community interaction.

Stakeholder Discussions

I collaborated closely with the product team and stakeholders to understand business objectives, feature priorities, and long-term product vision. This helped me to balance design decisions with product experience and technical feasibility.

Key takeaways from the analysis
  • Teachable and Thinkific offered the most mature learning experiences with structured course systems, analytics, and community-driven features.

  • Selar stood out for monetisation and creator tools, but had fewer collaborative learning features.

  • Mainstack focused more on creator storefronts and link aggregation than on immersive learning experiences.

Several platforms lacked strong social learning interactions, creating an opportunity for Enski to differentiate itself through collaborative learning and content engagement.

The analysis revealed a gap between “creator monetisation platforms” and “engaging learning experiences,” which became a major design opportunity for Enski.
